If you are not an alumni or current student at University of Nairobi then consider your education not the very best in Kenya. In the just released 2012 WORLD UNIVERSITY WEB RANKING of Top 100 Universities and Colleges in Africa, University of Nairobi came in at number 14, Strathmore University at number 48, Kenyatta University at 52, USIU at 65 and Moi University at 68.

South Africa had the biggest chunk of universities in the list and the first eight positions were all South African Universities.
