Once voted as the sexiest woman on the planet, Jolie to a break from acting and had the mastecomy over 9 weeks. Family genetics meant she had a high likely hood of developing cancer after her mother battled and died from cancer. She praised her hubby Brad Pitt for his love and support.
The mastectomy reduces her chances of developing breast cancer down to 5%. Jolie is sure to be a symbol of hope for all women at risk from breast cancer. She made public her story about dealing with the high risk of getting breast cancer, and will do a real service for women around the world.

36 year old Jeffrey Atkins AKA Ja Rule is out of prison after being locked up for two years for attempted illegal gun possession and tax evasion. Ja Rule was released from Ray Brook Federal Prison in New York on Tuesday 6th May but will remain in home confinement.
Ja Rule admitted to failing to pay taxes on more than $3 million earned between 2004 and 2006.
