Once upon a time, Muchene wrote a story on the Fall of Equity CEO foretold (click to read the prophecy), and the gist was that the God-complex James Mwangi had was to be the fall of Equity Bank. Mr James Mwangi just might prove Muchene right.

 

 

Mr Mwangi is reported to have beaten up the Group Finance Director, Mr Sam Oduor over a disagreement on shareholder's dividends. Mr Mwangi was said to want to allocate himself over a quarter billion in dividends, but Mr Oduor protested. Poor Oduor was given a sound beating, before being thrown out by security. 

 

Mr Oduor files a case with the cops and it's been investigated.  Mr Oduor quit, making him the fourth head of finance to quit in less than 3 years! Hmmm..., so is Muchene's prophecy coming to pass? Let us watch and see.
