Bad Boy Samuel Wachira PDF Print E-mail
Written by Administrator on Tuesday, 05 February 2013 05:18

Samuel

Wachira wears bright makeup and colourful clothing every evening and then heads to work. He struts into an inconspicuous pub near Kirinyaga Road in Nairobi where he orders two beers and waits. This is yet another promising evening. “You see, you people condemn us during the day but at night you are our clients,” he says. Wachira has been a sex worker for eight years now and he is among hundreds of young male sex workers in Nairobi.

“Wachira just who are your clientele and how much do u collect in a night?” Well his clientele are the who is who in the Kenyan political Arena and celebs too. Wachira also says about 90% of his clients are married men. He knows this because they insist that they pay for a hotel room instead of their homes.

Wachira says that he just smiles whenever he sees a Hague bound politician on TV ranting and thumping his chest during political rallies. Wachira laughs because he says he has had several sexual encounters with this Hague bound politician.

When asked how much such an encounter will earn him? He proudly says a cool Ksh 15,000. The lowest he earns per encounter with unknown but well off dudes is Ksh 5,000.

10 Reasons why Kenyan Children are dumber now! PDF Print E-mail
Written by Administrator on Wednesday, 30 January 2013 07:26

In 2003 the Top student in the KCPE examination scored 482 out of a possible 500.That means that over the 5 subjects they only missed out on 8 questions as each question carries 2marks.

In the just released KCPE results for last year 2012, the Top Student scored a measly 430 points out of a possible 500. This student being the brightest in their year missed out on an incredible 35 questions given the same 2marks per question.

Have Kenyan children grown dafter over the years? Are our kids just not as intellectually focused as 10 years back? I have some reasons for this ‘dumbing down’ of Kenyan kids:

1. Verbal Expression is negative: What the hell is "Xaxa" "xaxawa" and "I mixx u lykcwaizy"

2. Emotional Expression is also negative: Missmentation!

3. Expression of Gratitude:10Q = 'Thank you'

4. General Expressions: 208 means 'TUONANE' …Seriously???

5. Frustration: Cwesmek

6. When did "Nayo" become an adjective/adverb that can describe absolutely everything?

7. You have 5000 friends on facebook but not a single study partner?!! How now???

8. You like facebook pages instead of reading textbook pages!

9. Since when did compositions start with, “Dear Admin”

10. Pronunciation of words:

Ati= Ari
Nita= Nda
Nini= Nene
You= Yew
Poa= Pouwah
